Mythili hmm! I almost picked up a free copy of this today but then figured it wasn't actually to my taste. Three stars, is that "very good but not essential"?

Denali I think it's worth reading (if you spend lots of time on buses say) especially since it's not something you hear about a lot. Fallows makes a convincing argument that having a well developed aeronautics industry signals that you have a lot of other scientific, engineering, manufacturing and regulatory things up and running well (which is part of why the Chinese case is interesting). The 3 stars was just b/c I didn't feel like this needed to be a whole book. It felt like a strong feature that got increased to books size b/c it was about something interesting and complex enough.
