So many amazing stories came out of World War II, heroes and sacrifices everywhere, so this true story of a group of soldiers that crashed during a sightseeing tour fell by the wayside. But what a story! I was especially impressed with the only woman who survived. I was charmed by Margaret's wit, determination and beauty. Two of the three survivors were burned in the crash and all injured but they made their way through a jungle inhabited by all accounts cannibalistic tribes. Harrowing, inspiring true story.
