The Colony of Unrequited Dreams: A Novel by Wayne Johnston
A little long, but it was a fascinating look at the history of Newfoundland. My mother was born there, and my grandmother was born there and lived in St. John's until shortly after my mother was born, so it gave some interesting insight and background to some of my grandmother's stories of her childhood.
