Diamonds Are Truly Forever (Agent Ex, #2)

Do I always have to tell you the truth?
When you marry a spy, you know that the last thing you should ever do is tell someone that he is a spy. One careless slip created an avalanche for Staci that ruined her marriage to Drew and almost cost her, her life. Now Drew is back pulling Staci into another caper that brings them within kissing distance and Staci is not sure she can walk away this time.
There is trouble in Staci’s life that makes it so difficult to keep Drew at a distance even though she does not want to. Her mother is having worries over Staci’s stepfather and his weird behavior, so Staci decides playing Maxwell Smart sounds fun until she really stumbles onto the truth. Staci is determined to show everyone including her maybe, possibly, soon to be ex-husband that she can sneak around and lie like a professional. If she can stop blushing every time, it might work. Drew has his own ulterior motives for wanting to involve Staci in this investigation and all of them are personal and involve allot less clothing than they are wearing right now. Staci may push him away but Drew has the ability to pull her in.
When the action gets heated, the bad people come barreling down looking for a fight, and the nights get hotter than a firecracker someone is going to be burned. Drew is going to protect Staci regardless of what it takes or who tries to get in the way be it friend or foe. What Staci has to decide is where the danger lies – with the enemy holding the guy or her maybe, possibly, soon to be ex-husband who has a firm grip on her heart.
Gina Robinson is the ultimate professional writer for romantic suspense. Ms. Robinson knows how to mix the romance, with the intrigue, and throw in just enough mystery to make this one hot read.
