In the book Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson, high school senior Tyler Miller was just one average geek of the school until one day he got caught messing with school property. His life changes dramatically. He ends up getting all the ladies because of all the community service he had to do for his prank he pulled, he was getting toned and ripped. Tyler was on the roof doing his community service when he sees this beautiful girl that is in her swim suit washing cars with the cheerleaders. When Tyler becomes attracted to Bethany Milbury he decides he is going to be a man if he gets this girl but what he doesn’t know is what rude awakening and he gets blamed for something he didn’t do, something will go very wrong. He was popular, but now he has no friends no life and he doesn’t know what to do. Will things get better or worse? Read this book to find out.
The style of this book is very normal, not very catching at all. This seemed to drag on and take forever to get the point of what happens. This book is very interesting and it has a lot of good parts that can catch a person’s eye, it also has interesting characters in it but it did not fit me. This book is a fiction novel I would recommend this book to people who like a lot of detailed writing and also things to drag on so you get the description of exactly what is going on. If you don’t like when a book drags on about one subject then this book is not for you.
