I enjoyed this book more than I had anticipated based on reading the first few pages. The main character voice grew on me, and the plot was interesting. In fact, I had a hard time putting this (eBook) down towards the end. All that said, I did not like the ending very much. I felt a bit cheated and found it somewhat unsatisfying from a story perspective. Yet, I'd still recommend this book to those who like murder mysteries.

Setting: The author did a good job of including the necessary amount of setting information in the story. This one takes place in England shortly after World War II. IT is mainly set at the mansion of some very wealthy and influential people. The Farthing Set. The story ends up at a couple other locations, but they are not described as much as the Farthing area.
