Meaghan's review
I always feel guilty that I like this book as much as I do. The important thing seems to be the story, and the relationship between Rhett and Scarlett, rather than the setting. I just love how its a love story that doesn't end with happiness and love--it seems so much more honest because of it.
i agree! i love that there is not a happy ending. i remeber really crying at the end of this when i first read it at like 15ish. and i dont cry easily. i also loved the character of scarlett.
My God, is that true or what? I love Scarlett too. I love how selfish she was, and how unafraid to be completely self-involved--and yet you really couldn't totally hate her, because she had this strength and she usually figured things out, in the end. But Rhett was way cooler, and it is awesome that he just walked away.
