Hell, it's not even that long-awaited autobiography of Jim Kerr I've been waiting to see published. I'm particularly interested in the Chrissy Hynde years, obviously.
I never realized until just this moment that I am exactly four days older than Patsy Kensit.
Anyway, just kidding--I bought this book because Jancee Dunn's memoir, But Enough About Me was charming as all getout and also because I met her in person and she was real cute.
And . . . well. What I ended up with was a brush with the purest strain of chicklit I've yet been exposed to. Pretty but disagreeable woman eventually ditches obvious jerk for decent guy and grows a little in the process. I've really got to say that it seems unwise to follow up a memoir with a novel in which the main character sounds pretty much identical t...more

Sarah McLachlan, maybe, or Tori Amos--but don't never did no one never buy no Indigo Girls albums on account of a cute picture on the back.
No, guys buy Indigo Girls and Paula Cole cds because having them strewn casually around the house is a guaranteed lay.
