Stolen Prey (Lucas Davenport, #22)
by John Sandford
by John Sandford
The publication of a new John Sandford novel is like a birthday gift. I just started Stolen Prey and a few pages in I am reminded that Sandford is the absolute best of the genre. Please if anyone has a fiction writer you think is as good, please post a reply to this comment. I don't read a lot of fiction because I know very few decent fiction writers.
Sanford's characters always ring true because their emotions and motivations are logical and credible even when they're actions are not logical due to addiction or pathology. He tells a great story and he is a very good wordsmith. And every book will have a dozen or more places where you can't help but laugh out loud.
So....it was a terrific read.
