3.5 stars---I could not help but think that Nate is what Jory (from A Matter of Time)would have become had he dumped Sam Kage and went for say, Christo Lyon or better yet Conrad (from Mine) instead, which in this case would be Dreo. WOW, Jory should have really dumped Sam for Christo.

His ex boyfriend Duncan was a cop in the closet who walked out on him when he wanted equal and fair treatment (Hello Sam Kage.)

At 45, Nate is a version of Jory that has matured, makes better choices and is definitely more likable. I love the character of Michael Dreo's nephew, Nate's ex wife Mel and hubby Ben plus Jared their child.

What I didn't like: Dreo seemed like an afterthought throughout the first half of the story and it was all about asshole player Dr. Sean and musings about his asshole cop ex Duncan the Sam Kage clone. Good noble guy Dreo was just in the background and seemed to be taken for granted.
