The Anglo Files: A Field Guide to the British by Sarah Lyall
Some funny anecdotes but in general she beats a topic to death as if to show off her extensive knowledge of the culture (she's American). For example, the chapter on the game of cricket is so boring. There are some really funny things but in general she just goes WAY to long on each topic.
