The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers
How I doo enjoy reading Carson McCullers. I enjoyed A Member of the Wedding more, but this novel filled with isolation is a must read. Her character studies are rich and she handles the black characters with as much integrity as the white one.
