A very interesting read. I thought that the children adapted quite well to their parents lack of responsibility. The youngest child seemed the worst off due to the paretns further decline as time went on.
I think that we all grow up with some dysfunction in our family but most of us figure out how to deal with our family issues and cope through adult life.
