I guess it's not the book's fault that it wasn't scary. I was looking for a horrifying book, and someone suggested this one. It didn't scare me too much, which is why I didn't like it. It was definitely an easy read though.
I was unhappy with this book as well . If you want to read a good haunted house story try Hell House by Richard Matheson or The Shining by Stephen King . My favorite haunted house book is A Cold Blue Light by Marvin Kaye and Park Godwin . I think it's out of print though .
