bookshelves: nonfiction, seameo-vietnam, autobio-memoir
Read in July, 2007

A quiet, reflective book, sad but not unbearable--dogs, knitting, art and coffee. Skip the cigarettes. I read it in the Spring Hotel, that is, in one of the tower rooms at SEAMEO. Unlike the other books on this shelf, I didn't leave it in Vietnam, but gave it to one of my colleagues to read on the plane home.
