Readable, but that's about all it is. Lacks everything else (style, tension, etc) that makes this rise above 'extremely mediocre'. Also, had to suffer through embarrassingly shallow portrayals of evil Christian fundamentalists, a display of the main character's fabulous ability to recite random Bible verses verbatim as a demonstration of his theological acumen, and a paper-thin villain who tells helpless victims all about his evil master plan and then has the bright idea of leaving the victims alive.
