I received this as an advance read. You have been told to keep a low profile but don't know why. You can run faster, solve problems quicker and are good looking but you leave town and are off to the next place before you can make lasting friends then one day you test really high and some weird things begin to happen- you are recruited to join a private academy for the gifted in another state. This is the first few chapters of the Paladin Prophecy which reminds me of a cross between The Lightning Thief and Bourne Identity. After his parents are replaced with lookalikes Will decides to take up the prep school on their offer of a full free ride and runs away from the suits in black who are chasing him. He does have a friend in the form of a cab driver who keeps an eye on Will's house and gives him an untraceable cell phone. At the school Will begins to see that he is not out of the woods yet and uncovers strange goings on in a gym equipment room. Great mix of mystery, fast paced adventure and creepy monsters in masks that will appeal to guys with a hint of romance and strong female characters to keep the girls eagerly waiting for the next installment.
