In the beginning of this edition, there's a Preface talking about the success of the book in the UK, and some of her experiences promoting the work. For some reason, this bit is punchier, wittier, and overall more interesting than any other part of the book. It set me up for some disappointment when I discovered she loses some of the humor along the way. This prevented me from rating this just one more star.

But otherwise, my introduction to Lynne Truss was funny, interesting, and educational, so I look forward to reading some of her other work.
