Twilight: Twilight Series, Book 1 by Stephenie Meyer
I have to admit. If it were 10 years ago, in the approximate age range of its characters, I would probably be obsessed with this book. Because back then, I cared little for character development and a storyline and more about romance. So I can understand the appeal. But knowing anything about writing, I can't say it was good. There's a decent grasp of language, but you could easily cut out half the book and present the same story. I grew weary of the teenage bickering that consumed 80% of the story.
Sure, I'll see the movie. It may do it justice. But I have no plans on finishing the series.
