I could feel the power of these animals running through my back and shivering up my spine. Buck, a powerful dog with a wolf ancestry is searching for his purpose on the planet. I could feel the cold of the snow and the hunger the dogs experienced on the trail. The fighting caused my blood to boil in anger and when Buck finally answers the call, I couldn't help but to read the book a second time.

Although I was not as fond of this book as The Call of the Wild,White Fang was nothing short of a great story. I found it interesting that this story played the reverse role of the plot found in the previous book. White Fang is a wild wolf that finds a small tidbit of comfort in a domesticated world. Both books were an amazing creation by Jack London.
