Chang-rae Lee has a beautiful way with words and this novel -- largely about nearly sixty, likeable, but always drifting Jerry Battle -- contains plenty of fodder that makes you stop and think; particularly if you're of a certain age :)It's about the choices we make, and don't make, and how sometimes we let our lives lead us. My only reservation -- and it's a small one -- was that Mr. Lee repeated the theme, troubled, rudderless, middle age male, a little too often for me. But the book is definitely worth reading.
