Not your typical dog how-to manual. Sumers writes candidly about losing the love of her life, adopting a dog to fill the void, relationships, raising a son single, and working as a writer in London. I enjoyed George's personality. I also enjoyed how Sumers wrote of her failures. Like her, my dogs are less than perfect angels, it was nice to read about her less than model canine. Great, fluffy read to pass the time.
