Not as emotionally in depth, as say, Andre Agassi's autobiography for the simple reason that his life has not been as wrenching as Agassi's, but delightfully detailed about particular crucial matches in his career. He replays set for set, for example, his 2008 Wimbledon final against Roger Federer, letting us see his mental and emotional ups and downs as the momentum of the match ebbed and flowed. First person narrative alternates with chapters by his co-author James Carlin, who interviews his closest friends and family, to present a portrait of a very disciplined, highy decent champion.
