Snatched is a Will Trent short story. It is only about 80 pages. But WOW, The author packs so much into those few pages it's hard to catch your breath. Will is staking out the restrooms in the Atlanta airport. He overhears a conversation between a man and a small girl in the next stall. Something about those few words raises a bad feeling in Will. Acting only on a hunch, he makes the call to shut down the busy airport. Working against a time line only the abductor knows they race to save a child. I never thought I could feel such emotion about Hello Kitty slippers, they almost become one of the characters. I definitely needed a tissue at the end
