It was okay. A couple of reasons I didn't give it more stars:

1. It takes place in 1989, but the references seemed forced and in some places I don't think it was accurate. Suddenly she mentions Kirk Cameron or Huey Lewis and the News. The only reference I think teens will get is Johnny Depp and then they'll realize how old he really is. :)

2. The curse words. I can handle curse words, but these, like the 80's references, seemed just thrown in there for no reason.

A cute but avoidable read. In times when everything is hardcore violent, sexual or depressing (and often all three) this is a nice little read. Plus its short, which I know some people will like.
