Kem's review
Little Brother by Cory Doctorow
This is a book with many flaws -- it's not the most well written book, it's heavy-handed, etc... etc... If you want a list of its flaws, read one of the reviews that gives it 1 or 2 stars.
That said, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's depiction of technology is very accurate (I'm a computer programmer myself with a bent for security). It's a scary book about something that is happening in the U.S. today -- a friend of mine recently had his bank account frozen by the Department of Homeland Security (with no justification given / warrant / anything -- just funds frozen until further notice).
