Meredith's review
Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, Book 1) by Orson Scott Card
This was a book that I've known about for a long time, being a casual fantasy buff and all. It was a good, quick read; one that raised a lot of talking points about human nature (to the extent that there is such a thing), authority, etc. Plus, it's written for kids, so you get to feel all sorts of perceptive with regards to themes and symbolism. I'm planning on reading the other books in the series when I get my hands on them.
