Debut novel that is almost certain to have a sequel. While this is a murder, with the violence that murder suggests, there is no overt violence or sex. Hint of budding romance toward the end. This is a historical, gentle mystery occurring around 1800 that features the Shaker religious group. Good twists and turns. Lots of insight into the Shaker lifestyle.
