it was ok

I am so angry at this book. Sooo angry! I loved it when I started - the synopsis was well written and it seemed like some good healthy dose of cuteness. And it was - for the first part of the story. Then the protagonist just kept having meaningless hook ups and odd relationships. Dodd narrates to us a series of irrelevant-to-the-plot stories that basically tell us what a hot tease Jayden(the protagonist) is.
There was a shocking turning events about halfway through the book and i was so excited for it thinking that this would be the point where the characters show a bit of depth and Jayden matures. Boy was I wrong. Wrong Wrong Wrong. This great turn of events was solely for the purpose of showing the readers what a great guy Phillip is!
This book had so much potential to be something different. It had interesting characters, a well-written although cliche plot. It could have been a wonderful emotional roller coaster. But no. I turned out to be a flat tire.
