This book was so entertaining and engaging. Classic "coming of age" tale of two girls...two quirky girls to be precise as they encounter the typical pubescent rigamarole: breasts, the cheerleader clique, boys, etc.)
However, this book is FAR from typical because the characters have depth, wit, and a lot to say. I fell in love with the main character. I would have totally hung with her.
