Julie Christine I was afraid to open this book, to face the reality of a disease that has no cure, that will take the life of loved one in a matter of a few years. But The Thirty Six Hour Day presents the reality with such matter of fact empathy, I find reassurance in knowledge, in understanding the disease's progression and what we can expect. At this point, we are not the primary caregivers, so our concern is to support the caregiver and to plan for his needs. This book will be a tremendous resource as our family works through next steps.
