Miss Sophie writes a damn good story. I have to get that first off my chest. She certainly knows how to write a character that's at once endearing and make you want to slap her and hug her at the same time. That's how I was feeling about Cass all through this story. Especially in regards to the love triangle aspect. But, my own emotions were all over the place as well as my loyalty. I couldn't decide if I wanted her with one or the other so to just say screw it! and decide to rain her daughter alone. I loved the other two books and following Cass' adventures as she struggles to survive and care for her daughter in a world over-come with flesh-eating near-dead.

Ami E. Bowen Enjoying this series more than I thought I would. One of those series that gets under your skin and keeps you wondering about it after you've set the book down after reading a chapter or two and keep finding reasons to pick it back up again!
