Adam's review
She Stoops to Conquer (Dover Thrift Editions) by Oliver Goldsmith
A short play that, seemingly like everything written in the 18th and 19th centuries, derives comedy from mistaken identity and involves a sub-plot containing a woman who wishes to marry someone other than the man her guardian has chosen for her. Tony's character is good for a few laughs, though. Worth the hour it will take you to read it.
