A foolish man sets out to build a flying ship so that he may marry the Czar's daughter. Along his journey he picks up many travelers all with unique abilities. When the fool arrives at the castle the Czar is disappointed to find that he is a mere peasant so he sets impossible tasks before the fool. With the help of his merry traveling men the fool completes all the tasks and he is rewarded with the princess's hand in marriage and all ends well. Important events are depticted in wordless two page spreads.
