I didn't like Torn as much as I like Switched, but it was still an easy entertaining read. I like Wendy as a character. She is clever, snarky and yet somehow innocently naive all at once. I was sad at the situation with her and Finn in this book, but I do like Tove. I don't trust Loki at all and think in book three he will show his true colours. There is something shifty about him!

I supppose ultimately this book is setting us up for the finale in book three, the parts of the book that made me feel like this seemed a little rushed, and not much happened overall really, but rather we were given lots of information for the final book.

I felt like the writing style was better and stronger in book one, but I am still looking forward to book three and to see how it all works out, and more importantly, what happens with Wendy and Finn. I hope she gets her fairy tale.
