I wasn't crazy about this book. It was a little too far fetched and I had trouble keeping going. Bobby and Ruben are police officers who have grown up in the four corners of Chicago. Bobby is in love with Arlene, whose twin sister was raped and killed at a teenager. Arlene wants to be an actress. Bobby is suddenly accused of killing Arlene's twin and sexually abusing two children. His brother is into blackmail of a prominent Japanese business man, who supposedly made vials of pathogens for biological war. The woman who may be FBI or CIA tries to involve Bobby in finding the vials and arresting Ruben. There's lots of shooting.
