I of all people should know that there is some totally insane subculture around everything ever, but wow. Wow! Turns out the seedy underbelly of Scrabble is kind of a freakshow, and fun to read about. I did get a little lost during some of the long descriptions of the batshit methods people use to learn words, and I mostly didn't follow the Scrabble blow-by-blows because I don't really care, but mostly I'm like -- hmmm. Maybe I should play more Scrabble.
