This is my very first manga and I am so glad I picked this one. At first, the right to left reading style is a bit confusing and seems unnatural. I was greatly surprised though how it all seemed to click after a few pages. The art is simply amazing and yet simple. Done is basic black and white, the pages convey a film noir feel that is perfect for the storyline. A twist on the popular Astro Boy line, Pluto feels like it could easily be a graphic version of a Phillip K. Dick novel. In a world where robots live with humans, a robotic detective works to solve murders that are a bit too close to home. The robots in this universe have emotions are often appear "human". I love how the lines are blurred in this book. I can't wait to read more.
