I loved this book. I found the story was different, which is rare, lately it seems that I have been reading the same books just changed up a bit. I got really into the characters. I got really emotionally involved with the woman who worked at walmart. I can't remember her name, I think it was Sheila. I got attatched to her and then she was pretty much dropped out of the story. I think that helped understand June Bug's life a little more. How things were always changing and never the same. She got close to people then they were dropped out of her life. I actually cried at the end of this book. I liked the ending because I don't think it was what I wanted for a typical happy ending. I like books that don't wrap everything up with a pretty bow. The ending was realistic yet heart breaking. This is now one of my favorite books.
