Father and son writers Joe Hill and Stephen King team up on a father-son motorcycle gang story. The gang has just ridden from a meth lab explosion and discuss what went down while a mysterious trucker overhears things he wasn't meant to hear. Or was he? This short also pays tribute to Richard Matheson "Duel" and has a half dozen color illustrations. I thought the illustrations were cool but the story was so-so. There's some decent action but not much in the scare department. Some neat descriptive passages. Having read many Stephen King books and only one Joe Hill book, the writing seemed more Hill-like than King-like. Might be interesting seeing a novel (or at least novella) sized work from these two someday.
