Man, I tore through this like a fever fell upon me, not having read any Stephen King since I was a kid. I really enjoyed the cheerful and inventive vulgarity, the lack of pretension and the sense that I was reading 'a good yarn'. Plus, America! Good and evil! Nazis! Engineer booted greasers! A beer in jail! Thanks for everything, Stephen King.
