Much like going to a hockey game and seeing a boxing match break out, I picked up this novel about a guy playing online poker only to wind up reading a darkly comic rant about the publishing world. The poker parts were completely absurd and unbelievable. The publishing rants seemed realistic enough to me. Enjoyable enough that, but I'm going to continue to look for a good novel about gambling. They are rarer than a royal flush.
