it was amazing
Read in January, 2009

This book changed the way I read. And hopefully changed how I write. It changed my perspectives on addiction and tennis and Canada.

Mostly though it expanded my appreciation of writing as an art form. DFW's voice was clear and fresh and exhilarating in every sentence. Each theme exquisitely formed and thoughtfully presented.

I now more fully understand who we have lost.
