I had to stop reading this. I read the first three chapters and burst into tears twice. As a mother it was very hard for me to read this. Maybe in the future I'll be able to handle this book because what I read was great, but I'm just not strong enough to read it now.
I remember that feeling. It's very disturbing subject matter. When you do go back to it, though, know that there is redemption, and it is beautifully written, and I thought unlike any other story I've read.
