Really? Really?

I picked up this book to see what all the hubbub was about and this was it? I tried to get even ten pages in, but I couldn't--I just couldn't. The writing was poor and the protagonist, Elena, is insufferable! Narcissistic to the max and one of the biggest Mary Sues I've ever read aside from Bella from Twilight. "So perfect and rich and popular and she was the girl all the boys wanted and the girl all the girls wanted to be. Omg she's such a trendsetter! What's the point of being the queen bee if you can't boss people around and throw yourself at boys and treat everyone poorly!" Okay. Obviously Smith is projecting her fantasies onto this character. Can't handle it! It's like author wank.
