really liked it
bookshelves: science-history
Read in January, 1999

Most histories are written in retrospect by people who were strangers to the protagonists in their books. The fact that Gleik was "there" interviewing those involved in the unravelling birth of complexity theory is very exciting and goes some way to making up for a slightly irritating style.
