I would only recommend it to a person who's never been disappointed after praying for something deeply important to them but NOT receiving it.

Everyone in THIS book prayed for what they wanted and got exactly what they wanted. The woman prayed for her son to be safe and she was able to save him. The neighbor prayed for HER son to be safe, and they found him too. He went through hell to save but he was ultimately allowed to be saved. The woman prayed for her friend to come out of her coma AND be normal after being shot in the head at close range and her friend came out of her coma with no brain damage.
All of this is possible, I'm not saying it ISN'T, but it isn't going to do a person one damn bit of good to read about it if their son was murdered despite every prayer of safety they asked for.
So the implication that all you have to do is really truly want something and you'll get it is unrealistic. And I don't see how anybody who's been extremely disappointed would find any comfort reading about how all the people in this book got what they prayed for b/c "they wanted it, and prayed earnestly for it."
