Listened to the audio version of the book which had a few problems (the narrator's pronunciation of "experiment" bothered me for some reason). The book looks at how invasive marketing is in modern life. I found some of Lindstrom's statements a little too sensationalistic. I also thought starting the book off with a reflection on how he tried to live without brands for a year ridiculous (how did that defeat brand awareness- you had to be more aware of brands than just buying). But there were several interesting parts of the book. Nothing surprising for me, but I enjoyed hearing the info from someone on the inside of the industry rather than the academic treatises that you usually get on this aspect of marketing.
