I think I enjoyed the first couple of books in this series the most. Not that it has gone downhill in terms of writing or plotting, more than the focus of the books has changed - it's more introspective and plays around with the paranormal/psychic aspects, which I don't particularly care for. Some key turning points in Maisie's life in this book. Still a decent read, but I would probably start borrowing later books from the library.
