Read on May 12, 2012 — I own a copy, read count: 1

The author reconnects with childhood friends, and survivors of the Holocaust--all of whom knew Anne Frank during their pre-hiding years. The outcome is a film of their remembrances, which are touching. My thought, however, is that each is memorable in his or her own right, without need of Anne Frank as a touchstone.
